Paris 2015

Paris 2015

Paris as you know is the capital of France and also one the most populous cities of France. I was lucky enough to be able to spend a couple days in Paris visiting the most-visited museum Louvre where the original Mona Lisa painting is exhibited and also a few of other attractions such as the magical Eifel Tower, Sacre- Couer, MontMarte, Paris Opera, Notre Dame, Champs Elysees, Arc De Triomphe. I loved the city, the architecture and the lovely cafes where one can sit and just observe people passing by. Rajasthani Lady

Rajasthani Lady

I love to paint Indian women/figures, there is something so attractive about them. The grace, facial expressions, beautiful attire, jewelry, big and expressive eyes. I have been wanting to paint this particular lady for a long time but I wanted to do justice and paint when I was fully relaxed and had no other things on my mind. I took almost three weeks to finish this painting and I did mostly in oil colors. Here are some pics Rajasthani lady grinding up flour for roti, using “chakki” traditional Indian mill stone which was used by every Indian household in the olden days.18 x 24 inches, oil on...
