After we were done with museums, hiking and sightseeing in DC, we drove to North Carolina. North Carolina had lot of green spaces, tall wood drives and huge houses. Our main agenda in NC was to meet friends and family. Since my husband is an alumni of NC state university, we decided to visit his university. He took me to places where he would work as a student, the place he lived as a student and his classrooms. What I liked the most about this university, is the new state-of-art library they recently opened. I have never seen a library so cutting edge and technological advanced as this one….
Aerial view of the rain garden reading lounge – James Hunt Library, love how bright colored and sophisticated it looks 😉 Who wouldn’t like to sit here and study
Love the shape of chairs
Huge digital displays across the library. As you walk closer, the panel displays information and as you walk away the panel turns off. Isn’t it too cool?
Found my brother’s name on this graffiti wall, Maddy is what I call him
iPeral immersion theater – one can read newspapers here, forget the paper version and read headlines in this theater…
Nice display of vases in the library
Huge touchscreen information panel… I can already see the future of current generation kids and the cool atmosphere they are going to be studying in…
