I was born in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India. I have lived in Ratnagiri with my parents for 17 years and then moved to Mumbai- the city of dreams to purse my higher education and a career. I wanted to become a doctor but ended up being a dietitian, as I thought the later involved less studying. I never knew I would end up studying nutrition all of my 20s. Even as I am writing this post, I am thinking about my assignments in back of my mind! If I would not be a dietitian, I would have definitely either become a doctor or pursued fine arts to become an artist. The days I spent in Bombay whether studying or working taught me the most basic things I know life today- loving, caring, sharing, respecting, appreciating, staying alone, how to keep busy, how to like almost any food that has been given to you, how to study in a noisy atmosphere, how to spend money, living life luxuriously etc… I married a guy, I met online at the age of 24. The moment I saw his Facebook pic, I knew he was the man of dreams. We never went out for dates, nor did I have a fairytale proposal for marriage. We only spoke to each other over the phone and gtalk. I believe in the Almighty and am very thankful to him that he has given me the best things in my life. I aim to live my life with an open-heart and with humbleness. My life is GOOD!
