Today’s prompt is pretty easy and probably my favorite one to write about.
Well, my favorite quote is ““When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.” by Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist.
This quote is something I truly believe in, because whatever I have truly wanted , I have always received it as gift by the universe or the maker of this universe, God! I had always dreamt of pursuing education in Bombay, getting a good job, writing articles in the newspaper, giving presentations etc. and my dreams did come true. I have also read about a similar quote in a book “The secret” by Rhonda Byrne. She put it a little differently in her book quoted as “When you want to attract something into your life, make sure your actions don’t contradict your desires.. Think about what you have asked for, and make sure that your actions are mirroring what you expect to receive, and that they’re not contradicting what you‘ve asked for. Act as if you are receiving it. Do exactly what you would do if you were receiving it today, and take actions in your life to reflect that powerful expectation. Make room to receive your desires, and as you do, you are sending out that powerful signal of expectation”. Rhonda Byrne, The Secret.
My favorite quote also appeared in the movie “Om shanti Om” and was recited by the Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan. The quote translates in Hindi as follows:
Itni shidaat se meine tumhe paane ki koshish ki hein, ki har zarre na mujhe tumse milane ki kosish ki hein. Kehte hein agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho, toh puri kayanat use milane mein lag jaati hein 🙂
