As my husband as been to LA several times and has seen Universal Studios and Disneyland, we planned to visit other touristy points in LA like driving through Beverly Hills where celebrities live in huge mansions and walking through the ” The Hollywood Walk of Fame” which has brass starts embedded in the sidewalks bearing the names of actors, musicians, directors etc. My husband was more excited about visiting Artesia aka ” Little India” which is in southeast LA. I was pleasantly surprised to see so many Indian clothing places, jewellery places and eateries in that area and jokingly told my husband that whenever we miss India we should just drive to Artersia. Myself and my husband both being foodies enjoyed a lot of Indian street food and traditional Indian style Thali for lunch that day. In the evening, we drove to Venice Beach as it was yelp recommended but honestly did not enjoy it much. Next day we drove up to the very famous Hollywood sign and took several pictures there and then headed out of LA to spend our evening at Santa Monica beach before we drove back home. One of the most beautiful beaches and fun atmosphere I have been to is certainly Santa Monica. I will definitely visit the vibrant city back with my parents and go to Universal and Disneyland with them!!
