We spent day-2 at the World’s biggest Zoo,San Diego. I was looking forward to it since I had not been to a zoo in a long time. The last I remember was probably when I was 9.

This zoo was clean ,massive, meticuloulsy planted and tended with variety of animal exhibits. It had around 4000 different animals with 800 different species. It was well conncected with buses, skyfari and escalotors! It was fun walking around the trails in a sunny weather learning about different animals, their eating pattern and habitats. It was great to see similar habitats being recreated for the animals at the zoo.

Apart from lions, tigers, camels, elephants, giraffes, rhino and hippo, I got an opportunity to see some not so common animals.I was fascinated by the Giant Panda, Python, Okapi, long -necked turtle and flamingos.

Here are some pics….
