Sake
While we were sightseeing Tokyo on our bikes, we came across this sake shop. I have heard about sake so much that I was curious to see how it is made. Unfortunately, I couldn’t see “how” since we were late but took few pictures in the shop. Sake is an alcoholic beverage of Japan made from fermented rice.

Japanese gardens
I am in awe of Japanese gardens. I think I have written about these gardens previously too, but like I said, I am in ‘awe’ and so I am going to write some more…. Italian Dinner!
My husband and I both love Italian food! So after we finished sightseeing in Tokyo, we went to a famous Italian restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel, Tokyo. Tokyo Imperial Palace
After we were done with biking, we headed to Tokyo Imperial Palace. The Japanese emperor and his empress live here. The palace buildings and inner gardens are obviously not open to the public except on New Year’s and Emperor’s Birthday, when visitors are able to enter the inner palace grounds and see the members of the Imperial

Biking in Tokyo…
The weekend I arrived in Japan, cherry blossoms were going to be in their full bloom mode in Tokyo. I was very jet-lagged but didn’t want to miss this another opportunity of seeing cherry blossoms of Tokyo. There were a lot of spots in Tokyo which were worth seeing and, as our Japanese friends suggested, we rented a bicycle.
