When we were done sight seeing the monuments, memorials and museums we decided to visit the Eastern Market. It is DC’s oldest market. Not only does it sell fresh, locally grown produce but also hand made arts and crafts. Such markets are my favorites as they offer a lot of art, culture, music and food and I can spend hours clicking pictures and do some shopping!
