This year when we were visiting our friends in San Diego , one of the evenings we all wanted to experiment and try something different. So we thought of going for Georgian-Russian cuisine at a restaurant named Pomegranate. I instantly fell for the ambiance it was so cozy and different. The walls of the restaurant had funny writings by people who had paid visit at that restaurant some point of time in their life. Since it was our first time trying this cuisine we asked the server for suggestions and went ahead with whatever she said was the best. I really enjoyed the appetizer which was a hollow bread filled with mozzarella and feta cheese. I also enjoyed the Russian tea which was served with cherry syrup. The entree tasted something like a vegetable pilaf. The bread served with dill flavored butter at the beginning was fresh and warm. Overall good food, great ambiance and the best ever company of friends..
