Om - In the hospital - calm, sleepy, has to be woken up to fed, had trouble latching although milk came-in but over the next 4 days in the hospital, he learned to latch. Hospital stay was exhausting but felt nice to hold baby and cuddle him, also sent him to nursery for few hours twice. Sagar was exhausted and angry at the crying baby- doesn’t have attachment yet it seems like. Nurses said he is calm baby.

First 3 weeks at home were good, I recovered slowly, started to feel better around day 10-11, mashibappa came home to bless Om. Om celebrated 1 week birthday with nani . At doctor check-ups not much crying, Had a bad day July 9-10: cranky, wailing cry, cried when touched his belly stomach, likely gas, gave mylicon drops which seemed to helped a bit, doc said his personality will change, he will be more alert, awake, colicky due to overstimulation from surrounding, couple days before that had difficulty burping, took longer than normal, spitting up milk which he never did before except some amniotic fluid at birth, had a vomit when sleeping, doc said this is expected and normal, I am wondering if forceful let down is a problem. His crying can get intense, almost holds his breath. Dad and Mom have been a great support!
